A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus (Worthington) --the demigod son of Zeus (Neeson)--is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity's lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades (Fiennes) and Poseidon (Danny Huston). The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus' godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramirez), switch loyalties and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans' strength grows stronger as Zeus' remaining godly powers are siphoned, and

I've stopped myself getting too excited for movie tie-in games a long time ago but this one does look pretty good. That music is really unusual too, I like it. The game was scheduled to be released sometime in the Summer, but now we have an official release date of June 26, 2012. Thanks to RIMM7 for the heads up.
Oh, and check out the Spidey-belt!
Let me add that I have no clue who Mad Moxxi is, but after seeing photos of the women in that outfit I want to pick up every single copy. Also, I saw a lot of women in David's portfolio dressed up like Lois Lane. What the hell is up with that? Suffice it to say, no Lois Lane cosplayers made the cut.

Just yesterday, I had the pleasure of reporting that Warner Bros. has finally decided to begin the process of making a live-action Bleach movie. However, it's with mixed feelings that toady, I report that the anime will air it's final episode in Japan on March 27th. The manga will continue on but it's also been confirmed that Tite Kubo is entering the final arc of the series. Hopefully it will receive the send-off it deserves as both the anime and manga have enjoyed a LONG run atop the best-seller's chart. Most anime fans would agree that the series peaked during the Soul Society arc and has been locked in a meandering waltz ever since; however, Bleach remains profitable and popular and will go out as one of the top 3 anime/manga's alongside Naruto and One Piece.
Of course, it's bittersweet that the anime and manga are wrapping up
Simon Pegg and Karl Urban will reprise their roles as Scotty and Dr McCoy in J.J Abrams' Star Trek sequel, and from the set they send out birthday greetings to 2000AD which turns 35 today. Pegg runs through his favorite strips from the mag and then Urban puts on the "Dredd face" and gives em a "Happy Birthday ... creeps." Even if it's not exactly how he will sound as Judge Dredd in the upcoming movie, it's still pretty cool!..

NEW AVENGERS #22

In this gritty thriller, Edgar Allan Poe (John Cusack, Being John Malkovich) joins forces with a young Baltimore detective (Luke Evans, Immortals) to hunt down a mad serial killer who’s using Poe’s own works as the basis in a string of brutal murders. Directed by James McTeigue (V for Vendetta, Ninja Assassin), the film also stars Alice Eve (Sex and the City 2), Brendan Gleeson (In Bruges) and Oliver Jackson-Cohen (Faster). When a mother and daughter are found brutally murdered in 19th century Baltimore, Detective Emmett Fields (Luke Evans) makes a startling discovery: the crime resembles a fictional murder described in gory detail in the local newspaper—part of a collection of stories penned by struggling writer and social pariah Edgar Allan Poe. But even as Poe is questioned by police, another grisly murder occurs, also inspired by a popular Poe story. Realizing a serial killer is on the loose using Poe’s

Young Justice is an American animated television series created by Greg Weisman and Brandon Vietti for Cartoon Network. Despite its title, it is not an adaptation of Peter David, Todd Dezago and Todd Nauck's Young Justice comic series, but rather an adaptation of the entire DC Universe with a focus on young superheroes. The series follows the lives of teenaged heroes and sidekicks who are members of a fictional covert operation team called Young Justice. The team is essentially a young counterpart to the celebrity-level famous adult team, the Justice League. The main setting is the fictional universe of Earth-16, during a time period in which superheroes are a relatively recent phenomenon. The series debuted on January 7, 2011 with a two week reairing of the first two episodes, which originally aired as an hour long special on November 26, 2010. Young
USA Today has debuted the new trailer for Star Wars: The Clone Wars. The show is gearing up for the final four episodes with a long story arc that will include one of the only bright spots in Episode I, Darth Maul. Maul will have survived his encounter from the first installment of the franchise but will need help getting around with a robotic lower half. And for all of you fans of the double sided lightsaber you will be disappointed to find out he will only use the half that survived the battle with Obi-Wan.

Variety has just broke the news that wrestler turned actor Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson is in talks to star in Brett Ratner's Hercules. MGM is developing the movie and is looking to Johnson for box office pull. A compulsively readable journey into the area of movie-making where all writers, directors and stars fear to tread: Development Hell, the place where scripts are written, actors hired and sets designed... but the movies rarely actually get made!
Whatever happened to Darren Aronofsky's Batman movie starring Clint Eastwood? Why were there so many scripts written over the years for Steven Spielberg and George Lucas's fourth Indiana Jones movie? Why was Lara Croft's journey to the big screen so tortuous, and what prevented Paul Verhoeven from filming what he calls "one of the greatest scripts ever written"? Why did Ridley Scott's Crisis in the Hot Zone collapse days away from filming, and were the Beatles really set to star in Lord of the Rings? What does Neil Gaiman think of the attempts to adapt his comic book series The Sandman?
All these lost projects, and more, are covered in this major book,
It seems like I've been hearing people make fun of the villains Flash runs into on a regular basis, since I was a child. Evidently, DC felt they were in a perfect position to do something about that with their DC New 52.
The creative team behind the current Flash relaunch, Francis Manapul and Brian Buccellato recently talked to NEWSaRAMA about the direction they're taking the title and the character. In addition to giving the "Speed Force" a slight revamp, they're also making some adjustments to his well known "Rogues." What follows are some interesting tidbits they had to say concerning Captain Cold, Gorilla Grodd and Turbine.
Brian Buccellato on Captain Cold...
Captain Cold is not a pushover. And I think Flash is in for a little bit of a rude awakening.
He's not your daddy's Captain Cold.
Francis Manapul on Gorilla Grodd and Turbine...
I'll be honest, with Gorilla Grodd, we're changing quite a
Speaking with MTV, Adrianne Palicki and D.J. Cotrona - who play 'Lady Jaye' and 'Flint', respectively, in the upcoming action film G.I. Joe: Retaliation - talk about the relationship between their characters, saying that it'll please the Joe fans and that it'll build up as the film progresses. "Anybody that's familiar with 'G.I. Joe,' any of the storylines, they're two very main characters and they have a pretty specific relationship between them that evolves and goes certain places," Cotrona told MTV. "I think we did it justice in the movie so I think the fans are going to be really excited."
When the film begins, Flint and Jaye will already have had history together, Palicki said. "We kind of came into it with our own storylines," she explained.
In addition, Cotrona teases how far the relationship will go. "It [starts as] a brother-sister thing, and it continues on into other places."

Given what we have seen of The Amazing Spider-Man already this isn't exactly ground breaking, but a new pic is a new pic. Who get's tired of looking at Spidey?
And here are some sticker sets from both The Amazing Spider-Man and The Avengers courtesy of Stark Industries.RU
The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance -
Deadline is reporting that Fox has placed an order for Patton Oswalt's new animated comedy series Working Class Hero. A show that, "set in a world where superheroing is just another low-paid government job and centers on a dad (Oswalt) whose powers are no match for his misfit superhero co-workers and his demanding family."
While Fox has been dominating Sunday nights it is also apparent that the network solely relies on suckling from the creative teet of Seth MacFarlane, and Matt Groening. At some point The Simpsons and Family Guy will head off into the sunset, and you'd hate to see late night animated television disappear for good when that happens.
Well, we are almost there. Last night, there was a world premiere in L.A. for John Carter, a science fiction epic helmed by Wall-E and Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton. Reactions all over Twitter have been very positive so far, and hopefully people will go see it when the film arrives in theatres. Below are photos from the premiere, as well as interviews (via Trailer Addict) with writers of the film Michael Chabon and Mark Andrews, director and writer Andrew Stanton, Bryan Cranston, Taylor Kitsch, composer Michael Giacchino and more. Check it out...

Like I said before it's low resolution, but do we ever get tired of arguing about how good or how bad Bane's costume is? Nolanites and Marvelites it's time to viciously attack each other. Enjoy!

The Dark Knight Rises hits theaters July 20th 2012 and stars Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman, Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Garly Oldman as Jim Gordon, Tom Hardy as Bane, Anne Hathaway as Selina Kyle, Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate.
Thanks to Collider, we have this really, really cool unofficial/unused poster for John Carter, helmed by Wall-E and Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton. Name of the actors, writers, director, Carter going up towards the sky, lighting around him.. It's great. Wish this was the official one, to be honest. Poster was made by Hopko Designs. Check it out:
